KOSMO's VINYL of the Week:
Willie Bobo's "Fried Neckbones and Home Fries"...
"One of the great things about being a record hound in New York City is the amount of used Latin Records. In the 1960s, Latino musicians started playing Latin-influenced soul music, which is sometimes referred to as "boogaloo' or "bugalu". Willie Bobo was master and a huge influence on the first Santana LP, supposedly Santana played a version of "Fried Neckbones" at Woodstock in 1969." - KV
