"In the realm of Jimi Hendrix, I must confess that I prefer his more formally structured records to his wilder, more 'free' sides. In fact, my favourite Hendrix LP remains his "Smash Hits". But it is this later track that is my all time favourite, where Jimi shows us (once again) that Blues Music can always be updated.
