Kosmo Vinyl and Chris Pig are two former Londoners that I admire considerably. I recently had the pleasure of finally introducing them 'face to face', via Skype. 

Chris and his family now live in Somerset, England, where he has designed and built his dream studio. A printmaker since boyhood, his gift as a story-teller combined with a mastery of his craft results in the some of the most beautiful and interesting works on paper being created today, on either side of the pond. He's also quite the art historian, so it was a delight when he followed up our video chat to email some questions for Kosmo's artist talk.

The gallery was absolutely packed for the "Talk & Tea with K.V.". Kosmo graciously answered every question from the audience and, in the end, we only had time for one of Chris Pig's inquiries. Kosmo was kind enough to answer the rest of them via email when he returned home to New York City...

We recently had the pleasure of hosting one of our favorite people for a ten-day visit to the Deep South. The force of nature that is Kosmo Vinyl had only just returned home to New York from a holiday in England and France. He celebrated Christmas in Normandie with his family and spent some time back in London catching up with friends, including his old mates Mick, Paul and Topper. A few days later, he was boarding a flight to Atlanta for his Cisco Kid vs Donald Trump one-man-show at DIFFERENT TRAINS GALLERY. The opening reception was scheduled for January 20, the one-year anniversary of the U.S. presidential inauguration. But before we could get to the festivities, there was work to be done, and less than 48 hours in which to do it...
