KOSMO's VINYL of the Week:
This week we are in New York City in early 1957 with writers/producers Leiber & Stoller, for The Drifters' "Fools Fall In Love", first released as a single on Atlantic Records... "The Drifters must be one of the only groups to have 3 number ones with 3 different singers and although Clyde McPhatter and Ben E. King are remembered by many, Johnny Moore, heard here, is often forgotten. In fact, Moore left the group and came back later (as did some other members at various times) and was still making Drifters' hits in the early 1970s. Shout to "Rockin' & Driftin'" LP cover designer Marvin Israel (I suspect those girls are actually Elvis Presley fans)." - KV
