"Although recorded in Cincinnati, this record is pure Memphis 1956, with Jody Chastain on bass and Jerry Huffman on guitar. Like Elvis, Charlie Feathers was born in Mississippi and moved to Memphis as a kid. He also hung around Sun Studios (co-writing "I Forget To Remember to Forget") and worked at Crown Electric ! One of the great rockabilly originals, Feathers always stuck close to the sound and/or its Country and Blues roots. He died aged 66 in 1998 of complications from a stroke." KV
