KOSMO's VINYL of the Week:
"This week I pick "Right Now" by Mel Torme - Verve Records, from 1962 I think. Although I had the single, it comes from the LP "Comin' Home Baby" which has a great all lettering black and red cover. This was originally a big London mod record and it was a minor hit for Siouxie and Budgie when they covered it as The Creatures in the early 1980s. Buyer Beware: it is NOT on the "Right Now" LP by Mel Torme that came out in the mid 1960s on Columbia - I learned that the hard way." - KV

KOSMO's VINYL of the Week:
'Ring the Alarm' by Tenor Saw... "Tenor Saw's re-working of the old "stalag 17" rhythm was a Dancehall Smash in the mid '80s - you couldn't move in certain parts of Brooklyn without hearing this being blasted from every direction. Sadly, only a couple of years later, he was killed (some say murdered) in a hit and run in Texas. Still sounds wicked !" - KV
