"If you wonder what hip young London club kids up the West End were dancing to in 1975, this was it. Outside of the clubs, it didn't seem to exist. A few times aged 18/19 we went to this club off of Carnaby Street, it was upstairs and the crowd was mostly a bit older - quite a big adventure back then. The deejay would play James Brown for like an hour solid and the dance floor would be packed. That is where we first heard it." - KV

"This week some good ol' 'Merican Garage music: The Sonics "Have Love Will Travel" from the "Here Are The Sonics" LP/CD which was re-issued by Norton, I believe. Not sure if there's a Sonics compilation. I think they only released two LPs - "Here Are" and "Boom" - I could be wrong." - KV
