My work responds to environment through the exploration of form and space through color, light and spatial structure; incorporating the object in space and space as object dyad. While geometric principle informs my work, it is not necessarily the focus or ending point for the work. That is, it supports the ideas that each work requires. In public installation the work responds to the surrounding geometries and personal insights of the space bringing new perspectives to both. The playfulness associated with the joy of discovery and intrinsic interplay of geometries and color adds a lightness to the work while being supported by a strong theoretical underpinning.
